Supernatural

Supernatural is a television series dealing with paranormal. The series made its debut on September 13, 2005, and has recently returned for its fourth season on September 18, 2008. The series follow the adventures of the Winchester brothers, Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Sam (Jared Padalecki) traveling across the country in a black 1967 Chevy Impala looking for their father, John Winchester.

John believed that his wife’s death was caused by evil spirits and he rears his sons to be hunters of the demons. Sam tries to lead a normal life by moving in with his girl friend, Jessica, after passing out of High school. But, soon, he has to abandon it to search for his father. The boys investigate and combat any paranormal occurrences and unexplained events, based on American urban legends and folklores and myths as well as classic supernatural creatures such as vampires, werewolves and ghosts, as they look for their father.

After the boys find their father, the show starts focusing on killing Azazel, a yellow-eyed demon, responsible for killing their mother. They accomplish it but not before Azazel open doors of hell, releasing hordes of demons in this world.
