Prison Break

‘Prison Break’ is an action drama series that premiered on August 29, 2005. The series revolves around two brothers Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) and Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller). Lincoln is on the death row for the assassination of President’s brother. The evidence against him is so damning that only his brother Michael believes him. As an engineer who helped design the Fox River State Penitentiary where Lincoln is incarcerated, Michael stages a bank robbery to get himself arrested and sent to the same prison. He must race against clock to make connections with other inmates and staff to pull off the coup.

However, Michael’s task is made interminably difficult by the covert agents of an organization known as The Company, which was responsible for framing Lincoln in the first place. At the end of first season the brothers, along with six other inmates, manage to escape from the prison with the help of the prison doctor, Dr. Sara Tancredi.

The second season revolves around the hunt to bring the prisoners back while Michael and Lincoln strive to prove their innocence and search for the money salted away.

Third season trails Michael and Lincoln as they flee to Panama and Michael lands in a South American prison.

Season four of the series is currently being broadcast.
