How i met your mother

‘How I met your mother’ is a sitcom that premiered on September 19, 2005 and is currently running in the fourth season which premiered on September 22, 2008. As a framing device, Ted Mobsy, protagnist around whom the series revolve, recounts to his son and daughter events leading to his meeting with their mother. It all starts when Ted’s best friend, Marshall drops the bombshell that he is engaged to his long time girl friend, Lily, a kindergarten teacher. It dawns on Ted that he must also move on if he hopes to find his soul mate. He is helped by his friend Barney, a womanizer with most outrageous opinions, in his quest. When he meets Robin, an ambitious young reporter, Ted is sure that it is love at first sight but Robin does not feel the same. What nobody is sure of is what destiny has in store for all of them.
